Shannon acknowledged that in 1991 he tried ayahuasca, a tropical plant that causes hallucinations strong during a religious ceremony in Brazil. It seems the only real reason to suppose that Moses would have experimented with something similar.
It might be good to keep in mind that the novelist Aldous Huxley (1894-1963), Shannon says that in his new paper, which is famous for its Brave New World (1932), admitted experimentation with mescaline and LSD. But this does not necessarily that Huxley has produced all his literary works under the influence of drugs. The use case of Moses the drug is even lower.

Christian but not Catholic, can you tell me how, if you celebrate Lent and Easter?
I been a Catholic for 47 years and decided to cut all ties to the Church last July. I have always celebrated Lent and Easter with Catholic rituals and rules, some will always be part of my life, as stations & Rosary, although I question some issues Hail Mary at this time. My Bibles are all King James and I have not been seriously exposed to any other at this point. I tried to establish on mine with other sources, an idea of what the practice of other Christians.
