chocolate easter egg recipes

hard candy easter eggs?
There were several questions about the Easter eggs hard candies that have icing sugar, egg whites, gelatin, sugar and color in the recipe, but none of them gave the right recipie or amounts. Many confuse candy chocolate I mean those style of icing sugar. No not Pavlova and chocolate. My mother do but it dosent remember the recipe for some of the ingredients. I found the pages on the other questions about eggs but sugar is pressed from granulated sugar. It's more like a hard icing. Please I am desperate make them!
What do you mean by "hard candy"? Do you mean hard as in hard, solid? Hard candy usually refers to a cooked sugar, sweets like a lollipop or hard caramel. One possibility is that they were made from a paste or sugar based? Sugar Paste (white fondant icing) 750g icing sugar 1 tablespoon gelatin 4 tablespoons water 1 tablespoon of glycerin, 1 egg white 3 tablespoons liquid glucose Sift the icing sugar. Keep aside. Place water in a water bath. Sprinkle the gelatin and continue stirring. Add the glycerin and glucose liquid gelatin. Stir well. Make a well in the icing sugar. Pour the mixture into the center. Add the egg white. Knead to form a soft dough. Store in an airtight container. Another possibility is that they are a form of divinity? Divinity is made with porridge / sugar mixture of corn syrup that is poured over the egg whites stiffly beaten, and flavored. The gelatin can be used as a stabilizer. Color and flavor are added before the candy is shaped. DIVINITY PASTELS (Candy) 3 v. sugar 3 / 4 c. Water 1 pkg. Jello gelatin (any what flavor) 3 / 4 c. light corn syrup 2 egg whites 1 c. chopped nuts Mix sugar, corn syrup and water. Bring to a boil low heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Continue boiling, stirring occasionally until it forms a hard ball in cold water (252 degrees F.) 15 minutes. Meanwhile beat the egg whites until stiff but not dry. Add Jello, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until what is mixture until stiff. Then pour the syrup in a thin stream over the egg white mixture beating constantly. Continue until it keeps its shape and loses its gloss (about 10 minutes). Add nuts and drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper and leave out candy to dry. Store in a covered container. Perhaps the candy could be rolled into gelatin instead of forming colored eggs?
